- This is a complete book on depression glass of all patterns. I like that this book also gives the history on the different depression glass items. The color pictures are beautiful. I am a beginner collector and depend on this book when shopping for antiques.
- The photographs in this book are wonderful. I have been able to identify sugar and creamer pieces readily, as almost every piece is represented for each pattern in its text.
- This book comes at a welcome time. It's a fun and interesting book to look through and shows the expertise of and extensive research done by the authors. Depression Glass is hard to put down. The layout is superb having plenty of (color) photos, item sizes, likely values, great coverage of glassware patterns and a table of contents as well as an index plus a bibliography and list of reference websites. The book is made well and should take years of use with little wear. The long-time collector and beginner will appreciate this book.
- There is a lot of good information in this book. Although the pictures did not show the patterns well, and identifying the dishes I already have was difficult. This was somewhat disappointing.
