"Good ideas but there are better books on the market. The pages are thin and in black and white color. Its a very cheap product. It's not something that you would keep as a keepsake (it's not advertised as this but is that not part of the purpose?). That said its nothing more than a kids activity book and better to pick up a cheap dollar kids book in a store. If you are interested in this type of product, go for color and quality....something that will stand the test of time. This book missed a great opportunity."

Love Mom and Me A Mother and Daughter Keepsake Journal Katie Clemons Books Reviews

  • My 9yo daughter and I loved this book. She would complete her sections the moment I handed it back to her, I always took a few days / But it really is great and lets your kids know a little bit more about you and how alike you really are (because, we all already know everything about our kids, lol!) She would read my answers and say, "hey mom, I didn't know you ______ too!" Or, "hey, that's just like me!!" It definitely helped her feel more connected to me/the family unit, as she is going through kind of a weird phase where I think she just feels awkward & she's leaving behind all her baby stuff and growing up *sniff!!*
  • Good ideas but there are better books on the market. The pages are thin and in black and white color. Its a very cheap product. It's not something that you would keep as a keepsake (it's not advertised as this but is that not part of the purpose?). • I purchased 'Just Between Us', a journal for my older daughter but wanted to get something a little different for my younger daughter. Although the prices for the two journals were the same, this journal has far fewer pages and not made as well as the first journal I bought. I was surprised and disappointed at what I received for the price and will return and continue my search.
  • This journal is perfect for journaling with your daughters age 7-12, in my opinion and maybe beyond. The topics are general but sweet, and my daughter and I enjoy passing it back and forth.
  • Gave this as a gift to a friends 8 year old daughter. She loved it and she can not wait until she gets to fill it out
  • My 10-y/o and I really enjoyed this... At first, we were a little confused about the way the page headings were worded as it seems like the other one should be writing /answering the questions, but we figured it out. It was great fun to leave this under pillows to complete each night. Our little secret and a great way to share with each other.
  • My daughter loves all the drawing-based entries and we have had fun passing it back and forth, leaving it under the other person's pillow when returning. After a few entries, we have liked to talk about a few of them and go back and reflect on older entries. We decided not to do them in order, so it's nice to have a spot to write in the date on the bottom of each page.
  • My oldest daughter (8 yrs) is such a good kid, but often feels left out because her younger siblings with special needs require more attention. This journal has been a wonderful way for us to better connect with one another. The questions are fairly basic, but applicable to all ages. We write at our own pace and try to discuss what we write when time allows. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a relationship boost with your daughter!
